Susan Sieber, M.A. in Clinical Psychology

Susan Sieber has many years of experience working within the field of mental health both in a clinical and an academic setting. She holds a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology from Loyola University in Maryland as well as a Certificate of Advanced Study in School Psychology from Fairfield University. She is currently certified in the state of Connecticut as a Professional level School Psychologist and as an Intermediate Administrator. She is also recognized as a Nationally Certified School Psychologist by the National Association of School Psychology.

Ms. Sieber's unique experiences working with varied age levels and disabilities allows her to truly individualize services not only for children but for their families and caregivers as well. Her clinical practice is rooted both in CBT and DBT theoretical approaches but also incorporates systems theory, mindfulness and other Scientifically Research Based Interventions and theories that have proven results. Working closely with the child, family members, school staff and community based providers, Ms. Sieber structures a consistent and cohesive plan that allows children to grow and progress towards their full potential while mediating symptoms through internalized strategies and positive behavioral interventions. This is done through careful analysis of protective and risk factors influencing each member of the family as they create a supportive environment for their exceptional child.

Ms. Sieber is an active mother of three who enjoys a good book, music or an adventure as long as it includes family and friends.
